Preview. The venues are real NYC rooms, listed from public information. Every artist and show is invented for this demo, and checkout is simulated: no card is ever charged.
Ticket policy
Draft wording for the pilot. The final policy will be reviewed before real payments go live.
Fans never pay a booking fee, service fee or processing fee on LiveMusicNYC. The price on the show is what you pay.
The venue and artist agree how many advance tickets confirm the night, and a cutoff, usually 48 hours before the show. The meter on every show shows how close it is.
Once advance sales reach the number, the show is confirmed. Tickets keep selling until it sells out or the show starts.
If a show hasn't reached its number by the cutoff, it's cancelled and every order is refunded in full, automatically. You don't need to do anything.
If a confirmed show is cancelled by the venue or the artist, every order is refunded in full.
Tickets can't be returned once bought, except when the show is cancelled.
Each ticket has its own QR code, kept in My tickets under your account. Each code scans once at the door.
